However, today Il Messaggero has reported that Garcia, sacked by the Giallorossi in January, was suggested at a recent summit between Silvio Berlusconi, Adriano Galliani and Arrigo Sacchi.

The newspaper warns that the San Siro outfit would face competition for his signature, as Lyon, Marseille and Valencia are among the teams believed to be interested.

However, Galatasaray are the reported frontrunners as the Turkish club are believed to have offered the French Coach a salary worth double what he earned in Rome.
