“I am someone who doesn’t give up, so I think I gave everything and would do it all again,” Novellino told Sky Sport Italia.
The dismissal arrived after last night’s 3-0 home defeat to Lazio left them in the relegation zone.
“We had some good performances against Napoli and Empoli, but that doesn’t count. Last night we lost really badly.
“I hope this change of management can bring something good for Palermo. I hope it all helps to give something to the team. These lads need to be less stressed.”
