The Colombian notched yet another goal yesterday in the Rossoneri's 1-0 win over Sampdoria.

While he is a key component of his current squad, there are rumours that he may be sold in the summer as the club looks for ways to pay off its debts.

“Milan signed him to score goals, and that's what he's doing,” his agent Sergio Barila told Estadio Deportivo. “Carlos is calm, he wants to win the Coppa Italia and qualify for next year's Europa League.

“I often speak with Milan, and they tell me they're happy with him. He still has many years on his contract with the Rossoneri. I don't know what's going to happen in the summer, but Bacca's idea and that of the club was that of rebuilding a new Milan that would be great in Europe. At least that's what they signed for.

“We'll have to see whether the player or the club change their minds on that. Many teams asked about him in January, even in China.

“But Bacca told us that he wanted to stay in Milan. Recently these teams contacted me again with a view to the next transfer market. It's only normal that top teams should be after a great player like him.

“He has no problems with [Mario] Balotelli, I don't know where this nonsense came from.”
