Maurizio Zamparini says Verona’s players “looked the other way” to allow Frosinone to score.

“Am I doubting the good faith of Hellas Verona? I’ve already said everything. You look at the match. If there is to be TV evidence then it should be used in this case.”

Zamparini has made nine changes of Coach this season, but insists he made only one mistake.

“Have I made mistakes? Few, just one actually: sacking Ballardini after we beat Verona, I should have kept him.

“I was right to sack Iachini though. I was sorry to do it, Beppe is like a son to me, but I had to let him go then call Davide and keep him.”

Despite edging closer and closer to the drop, the patron is convinced the Sicilian side can stay in Serie A.

"If we beat Atalanta then I'm sure we'll win at Frosinone," Zamparini insisted.

"We can stay up, but it all depends on the match on Wednesday. Beating Atalanta is an obligation, though I saw a very good team against Roma yesterday."
