M’Baye Niang’s ankle injury has been assessed, and Milan confirm the results were “satisfactory”.
The forward picked up the injury in a car crash in February, and is trying to recover in time for the Coppa Italia final against Juventus at the end of May.
“Today, in line with the timing predetermined after the injury, M’Baye Niang underwent tests with Professor Niek van Dijk in Amsterdam,” a statement on the Rossoneri’s website announced.
“The results were satisfactory. A rehabilitation program was agreed with Professor Van Dijk which will bring the player to a full recovery, the timing of which will be determined by the clinical response to progressive workloads.”
