La Gazzetta dello Sport has reported today that Di Francesco has asked the club for reinforcements in the summer that would transform the club into a team that can target Europe.

The outlet believes the tactician wants the club to set a top six finish as their objective rather than seeing it as an overachievement.

Sassuolo will be willing to meet Di Francesco’s demands in order to keep him at the Mapei Stadium, according to the report.
