“The worst thing about this evening’s performance was the lack of a reaction from the team. From the first pass we were visibly frightened. Teams like Napoli can sense that sort of fear and pounce on it.
“You can lose at the San Paolo, but not like this. I struggle to accept this performance. We simply didn’t play. Now we have four more games and 12 points up for grabs. We can do it, but not with fear.”
Bologna are without a Serie A win for over two months.
