Serie B club Virtus Lanciano have been docked another five points, now totalling seven, for financial irregularities.

The side was penalised by the National Federal Tribunal today with the addition of a €6,500 fine and five month ban for CEO Claude Alain Di Menno Di Bucchianico.

The club violated several Covisoc rules (the commission set up to check the financial stability of professional football clubs).

The situation means Lanciano drop to 38 points and are therefore at risk of relegation.
