Gazzetta dello Sport has reported today that members of Inter’s boardroom were present at the game with an eye on the summer transfer market.

The report says Ansaldi was being monitored for his ability to play anywhere across the defence, as well as Pavoletti, who could be brought in if Mauro Icardi leaves.

Laxalt is already an Inter player and on loan with the Grifone, but his progress was being monitored.

The result lifted Genoa into the top half of the table, while the Nerazzurri are now seven points off third placed Roma.
