Milan are reportedly considering three candidates for their next Coach - Marcello Lippi, Paulo Sousa and Vincenzo Montella.
The Rossoneri sacked Sinisa Mihajlovic earlier this month, appointing Primavera Coach Cristian Brocchi in his stead.
However, the former midfielder only has a contract until the end of the season, so it’s far from certain that he’ll be given the job on a permanent basis.
Indeed, SportMediaset believes that’s highly unlikely, and states that the Diavolo are considering three candidates to replace him.
The first is former Juventus boss Marcello Lippi, who has been out of work since leaving Guangzhou Evergrande.
One option is the World Cup-winner working above Brocchi, with the current Coach remaining on the bench and Lippi advising him.
The next name in the frame is Vincenzo Montella, who has won plaudits for his work at Fiorentina, as well as almost certainly steering Sampdoria to safety after replacing Walter Zenga.
The final man on the shortlist is current Viola Coach Paulo Sousa. The Portuguese is not certain to stay in Florence beyond the end of this season, and though he’s been linked with Zenit St Petersburg, he also has admirers at San Siro.
