Jack Bonaventura’s season could be over after Milan announced he had suffered a lesion to the right thigh and hip.
The midfielder sustained the injury during the final minutes of Thursday’s 0-0 draw with Carpi.
The statement confirms Bonaventura has a lesion to the iliopsoas muscles, which connect the right thigh to the hip.
His condition will be evaluated over the next few days and naturally he will miss Monday’s trip to Verona.
Depending on the severity of the injury, Bonaventura could be ruled out for three to four weeks, which would effectively end his Serie A season.
