It kicks off today at 14:00 UK time. The 28-year-old midfielder has been the Partenopei's most iconic player since he was signed almost ten years ago, and will reach a remarkable 400 games for them today.

This makes him the third player with the greatest number of games played for the Neapolitan club, after Beppe Bruscolotti at 511 and Antonio Juliano at 505. With three years still on his contract, it seems plausible he will be aiming to set a new all-time record.

Hamsik is also aiming for the goal-scoring record with his club. It is currently detained by Diego Armando Maradona with 115 goals, while Hamsik is still stuck behind him, having scored 99 times.

The Slovak does, however, already hold one record: he is Napoli's player with the greatest number of European games, with 56 appearances so far.
