Milan will reportedly let Carlos Bacca leave in the summer as it’s unlikely they will meet demands for an improved deal.

The Colombian arrived at the San Siro outfit from Sevilla last summer and started well, but has now only scored twice in his last 10 appearances for the Rossoneri.

Corriere dello Sport reports today that Bacca is concerned by the prospect of not playing in the Champions League next season, which is encouraging him to think about leaving.

The striker was convinced that he would be playing in Europe’s top competition a year after his arrival, but can now look forward to a Europa League campaign at best.

The newspaper writes that if the Diavolo do qualify for Europe by winning the Coppa Italia, Bacca’s representatives will demand a hike in his wages from €3.5m per season to €5m to convince him to stay.

However, the outlet believes that it’s unlikely Milan will meet these demands and could instead look to move him on after only one season.

The Rossoneri directors are reportedly wanting €30m for the 29-year-old, the same amount they spent to bring him to Italy last summer.

Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and several Premier League clubs are believed to be interested in a bid.
