Roma have reportedly told Chelsea they must pay €40m for Radja Nainggolan, with PSG’s Adrien Rabiot a possible replacement.

The Blues’ interest in the Belgium international is no secret, but there appears to still be a large gap between the two parties in their negotiation.

Gazzetta dello Sport writes that Chelsea have offered €30m for the midfielder, while the Giallorossi have requested €40m.

Antonio Conte’s desire to have Nainggolan at his disposal next season and the Londoners’ financial firepower mean that this gap could be bridged.

The outlet believes that the Lupi are already evaluating possible replacements for the 27-year-old, including PSG’s Rabiot.

The France international is believed to be the favourite if Nainggolan is sold, but Palermo’s Franco Vazquez and Manchester United’s Marouane Fellaini have also been touted as possible arrivals.
