Samir Handanovic scared Inter fans by hinting he could walk away. “I have a contract, but you can never tell.”
The Nerazzurri lost 2-0 to Lazio last night, mathematically ruling them out of the Champions League yet again.
“Will I stay at Inter? Who knows, you can never say never in football,” Handanovic told Sky Sport Italia.
“I have a contract, but you can never tell.”
The goalkeeper only recently extended his deal with Inter until June 2019, but has made it very clear he wants to play in the Champions League.
Despite being consistently one of the best shot-stoppers in Serie A and Europe, he has never played in that competition.
Several English clubs are known to be interested in Handanovic, including Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City.
