Marco Giampaolo again refused to commit his future to Empoli as they prepare to take on “unpredictable” Inter.

It kicks off on Saturday at 17.00 UK time (16.00 GMT), click here for a match preview.

“It will be a fascinating game, one the lads must really enjoy playing in,” said the Coach.

“We need the right attitude, as Inter are an unpredictable side. They are physically strong in defence too and if they are given the chance to play in their own style, they are very good.

“We are highly-motivated too. The last two games of the season are perfect for our situation. It’s impossible not to be motivated against Inter at San Siro, while with Torino it’s a head-to-head for our objective, which is a top 10 finish.”

Giampaolo has been tipped as the next Coach of Milan or Fiorentina, so what does the future hold?

“I am not capable of predicting the future. All I can say is that I can’t talk about it now. My objective was just to be back in Serie A and I know my future goes inevitably through what I’ve done.

“I will be very relaxed whatever happens. There are no secrets with director of sport Carli. We are entirely in sync, so there are no surprises.

“Have I been linked to Fiorentina and Milan? In the past I was linked to Juventus and that didn’t happen, so I’ve learned to only believe what I can prove.”
