The Giallorossi captain’s future has been in doubt for several weeks now with his current deal due to expire next month, but an understanding is believed to finally have been found.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that President James Pallotta will announce the renewal at the end of May, when he arrives in Italy.

Totti will earn €1.1m for the year and maintain image rights not linked to Roma, while those relating to the club will go into the Lupi’s coffers.

A seven-year deal as a club director is also reportedly on the table, according to the outlet.
