Milan are reportedly optimistic that Luca Antonelli could be back for the Coppa Italia final.
The defender has a calf injury, and is certain to miss visit of Roma on Sunday, but the Rossoneri have the cup final against Juventus on May 21.
According to Sky, tests this afternoon at Milanello have given cause for optimism, and the Diavolo are still hoping to have Antonelli available.
Milan may need to win the competition to play in Europe next season, as Sassuolo are currently in sixth-place in Serie A, which will grant Europa League entry if Juventus lift the cup.
If the Neroverdi beat Inter this weekend, they will be guaranteed sixth, regardless of what Cristian Brocchi's men do against Roma.
