“Tomorrow's players will include Radu, Gyamfi, Della Giovanna, Bonetto, Gnoukouri, Manaj, Turbo, Kondogbia,” said Mancini in the last Press conference for this season. “As for Samir Handanovic and Stevan Jovetic, they said nothing wrong. It's normal that a footballer wants to play the Champions League.
“We'll go for the Europa League and attempt to win it. There are other teams that invested a great deal of money and didn't make it into the Champions, so we're all on the same boat.
“We were hoping Jovetic could give us more, in any case I can't guarantee anything. He can certainly score many goals and produce many assists.”
Mancini was then asked whether he'd like for Paris Saint-Germain's Zlatan Ibrahimovic to return to Inter.
“He always did very well and I find it strange that PSG would let him go. He's certainly still decisive, but who knows where he'll end up.
“As for myself, if everybody's happy then I'll stay, otherwise I'll leave. If anyone's got a problem then I can rip up my contract, but work isn't easy in the current conditions.
“I must discuss this with [President Erick] Thohir and understand what can be done, though things may be out of our hands.”
One of the Biscione's primary objectives is Manchester City's Yaya Toure.
“A player like him has never been seen in Italy. Some criticise his performances in the Champions League, but there's nobody like him in Serie A.
“Our youngsters? It's important for us that they play. They have a lot of quality and we want their value to go up.”
