According to Sky Sport Italia, Paris Saint-Germain have approached the Slovenia international’s entourage and been in negotiations for several days.

He turns 32 in July and only recently extended his contract to June 2019.

PSG are looking for a reliable goalkeeper, as Kevin Trapp has made some costly errors since pushing Salvatore Sirigu on to the bench.

Handanovic has also been linked with Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester United.

He has been at Inter since 2012 and part of Italian football since 2005 at Udinese, Treviso, Lazio and Rimini.
