River Plate talent Leonel Vangioni has flown out for his Milan medical. “I always dreamed of playing in Europe.”
The 29-year-old is out of contract and therefore arrives as a free agent in a deal brokered in January.
“I leave River in the best way, by playing and winning,” he told Closs Continental.
“I achieved great success here, but I always dreamed of playing in Europe. I never specifically named Milan in public out of respect for River.
“I will play where the Coach prefers at Milan: out wide or in midfield.”
