Italy legend Paolo Rossi feels the “uncertainty” in attack will prove to be a problem for Antonio Conte.

The Azzurri open their Euro 2016 campaign on Monday against Belgium in Lyon.

“I like Simone Zaza, but they are all starting on the same level and I don’t see anyone with an advantage,” 1982 World Cup hero Rossi told La Stampa newspaper.

“Eder had an incredible downturn in his fortunes since joining Inter, scoring half a goal in six months, while Ciro Immobile is also coming off one of his less impressive years.

“This uncertainty, the idea any of them could play or be in the stands, is not helping. In terms of keeping the team focused and calm, it does not give an advantage.

“There is one positive aspect to this. When you are a striker, you can play as well as you like, but at the end of the day you need to score goals and they’re what you are there for.

“It becomes a bit of an obsession and breaking the deadlock is the most important thing.”
