Rudi Garcia is no longer on the shortlist to be Southampton Coach – which is very bad news for Roma.
The French tactician had been the favourite to take over in the Premier League next season, but reports in England now suggest a face-to-face meeting went badly.
Garcia is not even on the shortlist anymore, as Manuel Pellegrini emerges as the favourite, according to The Telegraph newspaper.
This is a huge problem for Roma, who fired Garcia in January to make way for Luciano Spalletti.

This is a huge problem for Roma, who fired Garcia in January to make way for Luciano Spalletti.
That’s because he is still under contract until June 2018 and therefore owed €2.8m net wages per season.
Terminating the contract with Garcia so he could join Southampton would have saved Roma in the region of €10m.
