Radja Nainggolan feels the 2-0 defeat to Italy “helped” Belgium, but admits he was “surprised” to be dropped against Ireland.
The Roma midfielder was on the bench for today’s 3-0 victory over the Republic of Ireland in Bordeaux.
“Of course I was surprised to be on the bench,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“I thought that I was going to play, but the Coach made another choice and I respect that. The important thing is that we won.
