A statement from the Serie A club confirmed the representatives arrived from Nanjing this morning and already had a series of meetings today.

The delegation is made up of President of the Suning Commerce Group Ren Jun, Vice-Chairman of Suning Commerce Group Sun Weimin, Vice-President of Suning Investment Group Yang Yang, Vice-President of Suning Commerce Group Bu Yang and Vice-President of Suning Sports Group and General Manager of Suning Football Club Liu Jun.

It is all building up to the crucial shareholder’s meeting in Milan on Tuesday June 28.

After that, Inter will know more about the transfer funds available and whether a big player will have to be sacrificed amid Financial Fair Play restrictions.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Suning’s first target is Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure.

It’s reported Inter could afford to pay for his wages and transfer fee by making the Ivorian the face of Suning in China with lucrative sponsorship deals.

Inter also plan to improve their revenue with two big commercial partnerships, believed to be with an airline and an automobile manufacturer.
