Italy tested Alessandro Florenzi on the right in place of Antonio Candreva as they get ready to face Spain.

The Azzurri play the Round of 16 on Monday at 17.00 UK time (16.00 GMT).

It was confirmed today that Lazio winger Candreva will not be available for that clash, so Antonio Conte has to reshuffle his pack.

Today Florenzi was used on the right side of that 3-5-2 formation, having previously been played on the left against Sweden.

He tends to play at right-back or the right side of midfield for Roma, so this is more his natural position.

As for the left flank, Matteo Darmian is the hot favourite to start, ahead of Mattia De Sciglio and the more attack-minded Stephan El Shaarawy.

The rest of the starting XI should be the same side that beat Belgium 2-0 in the opening group game.

There will be another training session in Montpellier tomorrow morning before the team sets out to Paris.

So far Italian fans have bought 3,700 tickets for the game at the Stade de France and 57,300 were sold to the general public.

Italy (probable): Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; Florenzi, Parolo, De Rossi, Giaccherini, Darmian; Eder, Pellè
