Fiorentina have officially signed Bartlomiej Dragowski, the 18-year-old prodigy goalkeeper from Jagiellonia Bialystok.

The Pole is the starter for his club and his U21 national side, but he is more likely to be groomed for future duties once he joins the Viola.

Dragowski's medicals were completed this morning, and an official statement on the club's site now confirms the move.

“ACF Fiorentina communicate that they have purchased the sporting services of the footballer Bartlomiej Dragowski from Jagiellonia Bialystok,” reads the statement.

“Dragowski, born on August 19, 1997 in Bialystok (Poland), signed a contract that will bind him to the Gigliati club until June 30, 2021.

“In spite of being extremely young, the player boasts 69 appearances in professional tournaments, split between the Polish league, the Polish Cup and the Europa League.

“Over his career Dragowski has worn the colours of all the youth squads of his national team.”
