CalcioNapoli24 claims that Milik was indeed in talks with Napoli, and that he agreed to the terms of a transfer. If confirmed, this means that the Italians now have to convince Ajax to sell him. The player is priced at €18-20m.
The Pole would be picked up to replace Gabbiadini, who apparently confirmed to Aurelio De Laurentiis that he wishes to leave.
The president attempted to convince the striker to remain for another year, promising more playing time thanks to a change in formation, but his efforts were unsuccessful. Gabbiadini should bring €23-25m into Napoli's coffers.
