Nikola Kalinic’s agent says it’s “normal” his client his linked with a move but “Fiorentina are betting on him”.
The Croatian striker scored 12 goals in his first Serie A season, as well as providing three assists for Paulo Sousa’s men.
“There’s nothing on Kalinic, it’s normal that there’s interest from other teams,” Tomislav Erceg said on Radio Blu.
“He played very well last season, and he did very well against Spain at the Euros. Too bad for us Croats, as we went out early.
“It’s normal that there’s interest, as I’ve mentioned, but Fiorentina are betting on him for next season.”
The agent was also asked about Marko Pjaca, the Dinamo Zagreb midfielder who Juventus and Milan are vying for.
“He has great talent, and he can become a great player. He’s only 20 and we saw at the Euros that he can do great things.
“I don’t think he can go to Fiorentina though, because we’re talking about huge sums and, with all due respect to the Viola, it’s a deal for a big club.”
