Lazio director Igli Tare said Marcelo Bielsa “was treated like a Real Madrid Coach” and warned “it doesn’t end here” amid threats of legal action.
The tactician resigned two days after Lazio deposited the contract with the Lega Serie A, as he claims the club broke promises on transfer strategy and therefore the deal was no longer valid.
“He believed in the project, then changed his mind,” Tare told Radiosei this morning.
“He was treated like a Real Madrid Coach. It doesn’t end here.”
The Biancocelesti have called a Press conference for today in which they are expected to present new boss Simone Inzaghi and announce legal action against Bielsa, reportedly to the tune of €50m.
