Juventus have officially sold Iceland international Hordur Magnusson to Bristol City.
The 23-year-old helped his country make history at Euro 2016, knocking England out in the Round of 16.
This evening Bristol City confirmed they have signed the player for an undisclosed fee.
The defender put pen to paper on a three-year contract.
He had been at the Juventus youth academy since 2011, going on loan spells at Spezia and Cesena.
“We’ve been looking to bring him in since the end of last season, but with Cesena reaching the play-offs and then his commitments with Iceland in Euro 2016, it has taken time to get him across to Bristol,” Coach Lee Johnson told bcfc.co.uk
