According to The Guardian newspaper, Stoke have made a proposal worth £12m.
He turns 23 in September and arrived on loan with option to buy from Olympique Marseille, completing the permanent transfer in April for €10m.
RB Leipzig, Watford and Leicester City have also shown an interest in the Frenchman.
