The baby goalkeeper is the most prized of the Rossoneri's young players, as he has the potential to defend the club's goal for as long as two decades.

His contract is currently due to expire in 2018, and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are working on extending it.

His agent Raiola will be in Italy shortly to discuss the terms of an extension, although the signing will likely only take place next February, when Donnarumma turns 18.

This is because there are legal limits to the terms that an underaged player can agree with his club. Once he ranks as an adult, young Gigi will see his salary raised from €250,000 to €1-1.5m per year.

Furthermore he will be offered a longer term, with a five-year contract to replace his current three-year deal.
