In spite of the reputation for disproportionate spending that some Chinese clubs are picking up, though, Suning are not willing to bleed themselves out.

According to Sky Sports Italia, their offer is currently worth €35m, while Sporting are not willing to take anything less than €60m.

This runs counter to previous reports from Portugal that suggested a deal had been agreed for €40m.
