“It’s premature to talk about negotiations right now,” Marco Sommella told Canale 21.
“There is interest from Lazio, but first we must talk to Sevilla and figure out what the margins are for a deal. For now we are absolutely in the preliminary phase.
“Clearly the player is going to attract interest and at this moment has a thoroughly affordable price-tag. Naturally it’s not just Lazio who are interested, as several clubs enquired after him.”
Despite reports to the contrary, Napoli do not seem to be among the contenders.
“He is a Neapolitan, so obviously he’d be happy to play for Napoli, but I can say the Partenopei have never showed any interest in him, despite the fact the opportunities were there.”
