Juventus could resume their interest in Barcelona’s Javier Mascherano if Paul Pogba is sold, claims the Corriere dello Sport.

The Bianconeri are considering offers from Manchester United and Real Madrid for Pogba, but want at least €120m – not including bonuses or agent Mino Raiola’s €20m commission.

If they do sell Pogba, then the Corriere dello Sport suggests some of that money will be poured into attempts to sign Mascherano.

He was heavily linked with Juve earlier in the summer and is still waiting for Barcelona to propose a contract extension.

Experienced Mascherano is eager to get back to playing in midfield after being moved to defence by the Blaugrana.

Another option for Juventus is Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic.
