Gonzalo Higuain is on the verge of officially joining Juventus from Serie A rivals Napoli.

The Bianconeri had already agreed to pay the Argentine forward’s €90m release clause, with the 28-year-old this morning said to be waiting for the all-clear to join his new club.

According to Tuttomercato.web and Sportitalia, that all-clear could now come very soon, with Juve officials having arrived at the Lega Calcio’s base this afternoon in order to register Higuain’s contract with Italian football’s governing body.

According to Tuttomercato.web and Sportitalia, that all-clear could now come very soon, with Juve officials having arrived at the Lega Calcio’s base this afternoon in order to register Higuain’s contract with Italian football’s governing body.

This morning, it was reported that the Old Lady may try to insert some of their own players into the deal, in a bid to lower Napoli’s asking price.

While the deal is yet to be officially confirmed by either club, it is now a formality that Higuain will link up the Italian double winners.
