Marco Verratti has made it clear he won’t leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer, so Tuttosport believes Witsel is the clearest line of enquiry at the moment.

As a result, the Italian champions have tabled a new offer for the Belgian international of €23m.

However, English side Everton are offering €30m, so it’s unlikely the Russian club would sell for less than that.

While Witsel would prefer to join the Old Lady, it appears they will have to raise their bid to bring him to Turin.
