The Nerazzurri had made the Italian international their main target this summer, but appeared to have pulled-out of the race due to the asking price.
Napoli had an offer accepted of around €24m, but the player was unable to agree terms and the move collapsed.
Now Gianluca Di Marzio’s website reports that the Beneamata have re-entered the fight for Candreva, but are only offering €18m plus bonuses, with €20m the highest they’ll go.
Candreva is keen to move to San Siro, so his representatives will attempt to convince President Claudio Lotito that €20m is the best offer he can expect.
