29-year-old giant Fazio was eyed as a solid candidate to plug the holes in the Lupi's back-line, at least for the short term.
On from taking his medicals this morning, Fazio signed a contract and officially became a Roma player, as confirmed by the club.

“AS Roma is happy to announce the signing of Federico Julian Fazio,” reads an official statement on their site. “The club confirms it has finalised a season-long loan deal with Tottenham Hotspur, until 30 June 2017."
“The deal also contains the right to sign the player permanently."
