Edin Dzeko confirms his good form as Roma beat Montreal Impact 2-0 in their last North American friendly.

The Bosnian striker has scored in every friendly he has been fielded in over the summer, and he repeated himself at the Stade Saputo.

The Giallorossi took to the pitch very much with their best XI, as Radja Nainggolan and Daniele De Rossi in the midfield were flanked by Kevin Strootman, now seemingly ready for a new, full season in Serie A.

It was a fast-paced start to the match as a fumble by the defence of the hosts after 6' led to Diego Perotti snatching the ball near the box, and serving it in for Dzeko to finalise.

The Romans then doubled their lead at the 21', as an excellent through ball by Mohamed Salah set Nainggolan up for a one-on-one with the goalkeeper, which the Belgian didn't fail.

The second half saw Coach Luciano Spalletti change his starters and field a whole new team, inclusive of Francesco Totti, Stephan El Shaarawy and Juan Iturbe, but the score did not change.
