New Milan signing Gustavo Gomez says it is ‘an honour’ to have joined the Rossoneri.
The Paraguayan today completed a move to Serie A from Argentine team Atletico Lanus and gave an interview to the San Siro club’s official website.
“I am very happy to be able to play for a club like Milan,” 23-year-old Gomez said. “Over the coming weeks I will put myself at the Coach’s disposal. I am happy to have arrived in Serie A.”
Gomez then revealed what his targets are at San Siro and also thanked his previous club for allowing him to leave.
“Before anything else, I want to start playing, then I want to win a League with this team.
“For me it really is an honour to wear this shirt. It was a very fast deal, three days. I want to thank Lanus who understood that this was a very important step in my career.”
