Bentancur free for Milan

It’s reported Juventus aren’t interested in Rodrigo Bentancur, so Milan are free to make a formal offer.

As part of the deal which saw Carlos Tevez return to Boca, the Bianconeri have the option of buying the Uruguayan midfielder for €9.4m before April 20, 2017.

It was therefore believed that the Old Lady may block the Rossoneri’s move, but Premium Sport is now reporting that the Turin club are not interested.

Milan are therefore clear to submit an official bid, which is expected to be in the region of €15m.

Bentancur made his debut for the Xeneizes in April 2015, and has won the Primera Division and the Copa Argentina with the club.
