Domenico Criscito is being targeted by Napoli, but his wages with Zenit St Petersburg make a move unlikely.

The Italian full-back is touted almost every summer for a return to Serie A, but a move has never been finalised.

This year's suitor is the Neapolitan club, but once again the transfer will probably not happen, according to a report by the Gazzetta dello Sport. While the player's price, currently believed to be around €6m, is more than accessible, his salary would put him above some of the team's top stars.

This could easily lead to internal trouble, especially with the likes of Lorenzo Insigne grumbling about his wages and threatening to leave the club.

The Vesuviani are thus likely to stay put on the market with regards to the full-back position, unless a club were to be interested in buying Christian Maggio or Ivan Strinic. In that case, though, they would probably end up veering towards Milan's Mattia De Sciglio.
