Agent Fabio Andreotti recently threatened that the 25-year-old may leave his club if he isn't offered an adequate raise, which has prompted the interest of numerous European clubs.

Inter look to be in pole to take away the striker, but agent Antonio Ottaiano (not to be confused with Andreotti) claimed there was no contact yet.

“I think it's normal that we should be shown interest by the likes of Inter,” said Ottaiano. “Lorenzo is a great player and there are many clubs that like him.

“But we have not been directly contacted by the Nerazzurri. Perhaps Inter and Napoli are talking about it as part of greater negotiations,” he said, as the two clubs are currently involved in a tug-of-war over Mauro Icardi.

“A player of Insigne's level will normally draw the attention of Inter's directors.”
