Max Allegri said Juventus got “an extraordinary deal” out of selling Paul Pogba to Manchester United for €105m (£89.2m).

The midfielder arrived as a free agent when his contract with United expired in the summer of 2012, but sold him back to the Old Trafford outfit for a world record €105m plus €5m bonuses.

“The club did an extraordinary deal from a financial point of view,” the Coach told JTV.

“The club did an extraordinary deal from a financial point of view,” the Coach told JTV.

“I wish him a big ‘good luck’ and maybe we’ll meet in the Champions League in future.

“He’s had great seasons, growing a lot and he can do so again in the future.”

There is still some debate over who paid agent Mino Raiola’s commission, believed to be in the region of €20-25m.

Juventus released a financial statement confirming their profit for Pogba was eventually €72.6m (£61.75m).
