Nikola Maksimovic was AWOL from Torino training yet again today, as he tries to force a transfer to Napoli.
The defender was due to start last night’s Coppa Italia encounter with Pro Vercelli, but was instead left out of the squad entirely after failing to attend training.
“Yesterday Maksimovic did not turn up to training, without alerting anyone,” Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic told Sky Sport Italia on Saturday.

“It was a serious lack of respect. This kind of incident will be difficult to repair. We’ll see what happens, but first of all he must apologise.”
There doesn’t seem to be any path to fixing this problem, as Tuttomercatoweb claim Maksimovic was absent without leave again this morning.
Napoli are eager to snap him up, but Toro won’t go below their €25m asking price.
