Napoli apparently have a deal for the signing of Dinamo Zagreb's Marko Rog, and can now turn to Bologna's Amadou Diawara.

The Croatian midfielder is set to join the Partenopei, according to Calciomercato.it, although the deal will be slightly delayed.

Dinamo Zagreb still have to dispute the Champions League play-offs against Salzburg, the return match of which will take place on August 25. They will be counting on Rog for those games, and only let him head off to Naples after that.

With Rog no longer in need of attention, Napoli can turn their efforts to Diawara. The Guinean midfielder is going on strike with the Rossoblu, much like Nikola Maksimovic is doing for Torino, in an effort to force the club into a sale.

The Vesuviani were expected to wait until the sale of Mirko Valdifiori before moving for Diawara, but the competition of Roma persuaded them to act without delay.
