Milan have done the deal for Jose Ernesto Sosa from Besiktas, so drop their interest in Boca Juniors midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur.
According to multiple sources including Sky Sport Italia and SportItalia, Milan agreed terms with Besiktas this evening for 31-year-old Sosa at €7.5m.
He’s due in Italy between tonight and tomorrow for a medical.

However, there’s a knock-on effect, as La Gazzetta dello Sport suggest Milan only went all in for Sosa after receiving another rejection for Boca midfielder Bentancur.
Juventus have an option on the 19-year-old and tried to block his €15m transfer to Milan this summer.
The problem is that Milan only had one remaining non-EU spot remaining in their squad and Argentine Sosa is going to fill it.
This means no deal this summer for Bentancur, Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado or any other non-EU player.
