Bologna are reportedly interested in Mario Balotelli, but Liverpool won’t offer discounts.

The striker spent last season on loan with Milan, but the Rossoneri opted not to make the transfer permanent.

Super Mario has been told in no uncertain terms that he’s not part of Jurgen Klopp’s plans, and has been linked with Chievo.

Now La Repubblica is reporting that Bologna are also interested, as the Rossoblu are in need of a striker.

However, l’Arena reports that Liverpool are not willing to offer discounts on Balotelli, as they want any club loaning the player to pay for his €6m wages.

That would be well outside of the price range of Chievo and Bologna, with the former offering just €1.5m per season.

Any deal for Balotelli is likely to go down to the deadline, as the Reds may accept paying some or most of Mario’s wages rather than have him in the reserves earning €6m.
